The International Golf Federation announced Wednesday that it was pushing back the qualifying deadline for the Olympic Games by a year after the Olympics were pushed to 2021 by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Amateur Championships for men and women have both been rescheduled for late August while five more international events have been cancelled by the R&A.
