The Detroit Red Wings added some scoring depth up front on Wednesday, signing left wing Mathias Brome, 25, who had 43 points last season in the Swedish Hockey League, to a one-year contract.

Oskar Lindblom's cancer treatments "have gone as well or better than we could have expected," Flyers assistant general manager Brent Flahr said.
