Bank Earnings: NWBI, BOH

Northwest Bancorp (NWBI) announced that it earned $15.7 million during the third quarter, 6 percent lower than the same period last year. Earnings per share were 17 cents. Net interest income was lower by 1.5 percent from $67 million a year ago to $66 million.
