With all preseason games in the books and the season opener less than a week away, the New York Knicks announced their roster cuts on Saturday. The process of whittling their 20-man roster down to 15 players began on Friday when they waived Chris Smith, who had undergone knee surgery and was expected to be out for three to six months (per AP, via NBA.com).
