Did This Handful of Sandbags Save an AT&T Store Prowling around Water St. in lower Manhattan today and came across this AT*T store looking all lonely and dark, but with a resilient iPhone 5 banner hanging in the window. Was this trove of mobile phonery protected from Sandy? by Michael Hession NOPE. Upon looking through the window, the scene inside was a ravaged scattering of retail detritus. Pretty sure you can see where the water came up to during the flooding.  Saaaannnnndddddyyyyy!!!
