Expectations have dropped for Capital One Financial's (COF) fourth quarter results in the month leading up to the company's earnings announcement slated for Thursday, January 17, 2013. The consensus analyst estimate has dropped from $1.66 a share to the current estimate of earnings of $1.62 a share.
