Tumblr web update lets us write posts as we'd see them

Tumblr has no shortage of fans, but its desktop posting interface hasn't exactly embraced the immediacy of the social networking world. A composer redesign pushing out today puts the service squarely in 2013. Its new web interface drops the blog-style editor in favor of laying out content much in the same way that visitors would see it themselves.
