Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) announced that earnings during the fourth quarter more than doubled due to a growing subscriber base resulting in higher revenue. The company earned $156.2 million, or 2 cents per share, during the most recent quarter, up from $71.3 million, or 1 cent per share, in the same period last year. Revenue increased by 14 percent to $892.4 million from $783.7 million. Analysts had expected earnings of two cents per share and revenue of $899.7 million.
