Report: Javier Vazquez Won't Pitch in World Baseball Classic, May Retire

Javier Vazquez, 36, was attempting a potential comeback after taking off all of the 2012 season, but it appears as if that goal won't come to fruition. Ruben Rodriguez of El Nuevo Dia reports (via Twitter) that Vazquez has pulled out of the World Baseball Classic (he was scheduled to pitch for his native Puerto Rico) and may retire due to right meniscus surgery.
