Housing Starts Increase

The Commerce Department announced on Tuesday that housing starts increased by 0.8 percent last month to a an annual rate of 917,000 units. Future construction permits increased by 4.6 percent to an annual rate of 946,000, the quickest since June of 2008. The data suggests that the economy
