Bobby Brown serves his 55 day jail sentence in only eight hours

Bobby Brown spent a mere eight hours behind bars Wednesday, reports the L.A. Times, getting released almost as soon as he reported to serve a 55-day sentence for DUI. No VIP treatment for the '80s R&B star, just standard practice for a California penal system grappling with jail overcrowding.
