Seller asking prices up 2.1% in England and Wales, new data shows

New seller asking prices in England and Wales increased by 2.1% or £4,996 this month to £244,706, the highest April figure ever recorded, the latest data from Rightmove shows. This fourth consecutive rise sees property coming to market up by 6.9% or £15,717 so far in 2013, the second highest national figure ever recorded and within £1,529 of the all time high.
