Venture Investing Drops In Q1 Despite More VC Funds Raised

Venture capital firms raised more dollars from their limited partners in the first quarter of 2013 than in the prior quarter, showing that it may have stabilized the larger trend of a shrinking industry. But U.S. venture investing in companies dropped in the quarter, according to data from Dow Jones VentureSource.
