PS 244's All-Vegetarian Lunch; The Plaza Cafe's New Outdoor Patio

• PS 244, an elementary school in Flushing, has decided to go all-vegetarian with its lunch menu, making it the first traditional public school to do so. The change came into effect yesterday with a meal of black bean and cheddar quesadillas served with salsa, red roasted potatoes, and steamed broccoli.
