Japan's Nikkei has bounced back 2% overnight after it pulled off as much as 20% from highs of the year, and U.S. stocks are holding their own Tuesday morning. On Monday, the S&P 500 briefly went below 1630, put in a low at 1622 and then came back above it. Perhaps bears were scared to be short heading into a Tuesday, a day that has produced 20 consecutive winning sessions.
