On 12 June 2013, the scientists working on the International Linear Collider, a next-generation particle collider to complement and advance the physics of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, will officially publish and hand over the ILC's Technical Design Report to the International Committee for Future Accelerators, ICFA. This report marks the technical readiness of the project and contains physics motivation, detailed accelerator and detector designs as well as a thorough costing.
