A string of weak economic data led to a selloff on Wall Streetearlier this week and for a good part of Thursday, too, but stocks staged a minor reversal with the S&P 500 Index closing 0.85% higher on the day and the Dow up 0.53% to close back above 15,000. The Dow closed at 15,040, while the S&P 500 gained 13.6 points to 1,622.
