'Fort Knox' fills in for 'Doonesbury' in Post

"Fort Knox" is reporting for duty and stationed in the space temporarily vacated by "Doonesbury" from June 10 until Sept. 1. The creation of former military brat Paul Jon, the strip chronicles the challenges faced by the Knoxes, a military family that has to cope with dad Joe's frequent absences on assignment; mom Jane's subsequent single-parenting; and sons Donald and Wesley's struggles as they adjust to new kids and new schools with every move.
