AFTER EARTH 2 1/2 stars. Will and Jaden Smith are intergalactic crash survivors, a father and son who must navigate an Edenic but inhospitable planet if they are to make it home. Based on a story by the Overbrook superstar, and directed in nicely unhurried fashion by M.
