Update: Paula Deen loses a publisher, keeps another

Has the last shoe has dropped for Paula Deen? Despite all those fans who pre-ordered her upcoming cookbook to show support, Ballantine Books announced late Friday it would not release "Paula Deen's New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up," nor the other four future books in her deal. Sears and J.C. Penney and Walgreen also joined Wal-Mart and other retailers in bailing -- but in a statement, Hoffman Media LLC pledged to keep publishing the magazine Cooking with Paula Deen.
