Applied Materials (AMAT) Earnings Projected to Drop

Wall Street is expecting lower profit for Applied Materials when the company reports its third quarter results on Thursday, August 15, 2013. Analysts are expecting earnings per share of 19 cents after the company booked a profit of 24 cents a share a year earlier.
