Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus: MERS-CoV treatment effective in monkeys

Scientists report that a combination of two licensed antiviral drugs reduces virus replication and improves clinical outcome in a recently developed monkey model of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection.
