Motorola had announced earlier this year that it would offer two Moto X variants “just for developers.” One of those variants went on sale a couple of days ago, it was compatible with Verizon. The GSM Moto X developer edition smartphone is now available for purchase through Motorola’s website. It costs $649.99 and does not require a two year contract with a carrier.
