Missoni Spring 2014

There are designers who use one reference, and then there's Angela Missoni. Her Spring 2014 collection was a pastiche of ideas that ranged from Indian sarongs, Japanese pop songs, volcano prints, seascapes, florals, and even a new riff on the house's logo. But while this collection included multitudes, it never felt too busy. Missoni is a master, after all, and she managed to distill all those references into a vibrant offering of separates and dresses with remarkable character and spirit.
