Apple's Biggest Challenge: Still No US Sales Growth

Apple beat its revenue and EPS consensus numbers on the strength of white hot Japanese (+41%) and tolerable Chinese (+6%) sales growth. It is worth noting that iPhone market share jumped dramatically in Japan during September. Its share jumped from 14% in August to 34% in September - an even sharper increase than in the US market.
