With the enormous destruction caused by Super Typhoon Haiyan further hindering its outlook for expansion, the Philippines experienced its weakest economic growth in more than a year last quarter, Bloomberg reports. The National Statistical Coordination Board said in Manila today that gross domestic product climbed 7 percent in the three months through September from a year earlier, compared with a 7.6 percent gain in the previous quarter.
