Do We Like Being Deceived?

Truth and opinion have always been the essence of distinguished American journalism, and the best media outlets are known for accurately representing each.  Obviously, in our enviable environment, where we have freedom of the press, there are also rags that are recognized for being just that.  For example, there are certain magazines, some of which appear on supermarket racks, and recognized websites, well known as factually unreliable.
