Reliable Source: Chris Brown probation revoked because of D.C. arrest

Chris Brown's probation has been revoked because of his D.C. arrest this fall -- but he escapes jail time. In Los Angeles Monday for a hearing related to his 2009 beating of former girlfriend Rihanna, the R&B singer appeared before a judge who said Brown's misdemeanor assault charge in Washington violated terms of his probation, the LA Times reports. However, the judge was "pleased with Brown's progress," and chose not to send him into custody.
