Corning, the maker of the Gorilla Glass that protects almost all smartphones, announced yesterday at the Consumer Electronics Show that a new iteration of the scratch- and shatter-resistant glass can be manufactured in curved, organic shapes. The glass production could start in the later part of 2014.
