UNC researchers find new route for better brain disorder treatments

(University of North Carolina Health Care) Solving a 40-year-old mystery, scientists at the UNC School of Medicine and The Scripps Research Institute have discovered how salt acts as a key regulator for drugs used to treat a variety of brain diseases including chronic pain, Parkinson's disease, and depression.
