The ranks of expansively pretty and brutally fuzzed-out metal/not-metal bands seems to grow every day. Philly shoegazers Nothing are closer to recent-vintage Alcest than they are to Deafheaven on that spectrum, but there’s a heavy intensity to their enormous-sounding debut album Guilty Of Everything that can’t be attributed to just a My Bloody Valentine influence.
