Disney makes it official: 'The Incredibles' is finally getting a sequel

One of the most-requested sequels in the last 20 years is a follow-up to 2004's fantastic and funny 'The Incredibles,' and now Disney and Pixar have announced that 'The Incredibles 2' will be made. No word, yet, though, on whether or not writer/director Brad Bird is back for the sequel.
