Juan Martin del Potro underwent surgery this morning on the bothersome left wrist that has plagued him for over a year. Del Potro’s surgery took place at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota with Dr. Richard Berger, the man he entrusted with his right wrist in 2010. While no time frame on his recovery has been offered, the last time the Argentine underwent similar surgery on his right wrist he was off the tour for six months.
