Minecraft developer Notch cancels Oculus VR version of game after Facebook acquisition

In light of the just-announced acquisition of the VR company Oculus by Facebook, Markus "Notch" Persson announced that he no longer plans on bringing Minecraft to the Oculus Rift. Persson is the head of Minecraft development studio Mojang. We were in talks about maybe bringing a version of Minecraft to Oculus. I just cancelled that deal.
