Most people who drive to work drive alone. The three-wheeled, two-passenger Elio is technically classified as a motorcycle, but is fully enclosed and includes all the trappings of a car. Elio can drive 672 miles on a tank of gas--that's from New York to Detroit. It's expected to be available next year.
