The increased levels, combined with the inclusion of additional assets towards the calculation of a bank?s leverage ratio, will mean that these eight banks will need to raise as much as $68 billion in fresh capital to comply with the new rule. The banks affected are JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon and State Street.
