Ideas for Using Hairless Cow Hide? -- Good Questions

Q: About a year ago my fiance went to buy a leather cowhide rug. He ended up getting a "great deal," but it was not a rug, just the cowhide, and a hairless one at that! He insisted on using it as a rug even though it really doesn't have the same effect or durability. We are now moving and I need to find a new use for this before it ends up on our floor once more. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
