(Initiate PR) Adult ADHD is a serious medical condition that can put patients in danger and greatly impair their lives. It can be treated by stimulants, but they have side effects and are restricted (scheduled) substances. This new approach to modifying multiple neurotransmitters may represent a non-stimulant treatment option with stimulant-like efficacy. Data will be presented at the Society of Biological Psychiatry annual meeting.
