Peter Glaser, Father of Solar-Power Satellite Idea, Dies at 90

An imaginative inventor and space pioneer has passed away. Peter Glaser, who introduced the idea of using satellites to beam solar energy from space down to Earth, died May 29 at the age of 90 at his home in Lexington, Mass.
