How Do I Decorate Greige/Yellow Graduate Housing? -- Good Questions

Q: Hey, wise Apartment Therapy community! My husband is currently in a doctorate program, and we just moved into one of the graduate housing apartments next to campus. The design of the space is predictably tricky. The walls are a yellow/beige (like khaki pants), and the floors are a darker greige tile. We can't paint or make holes in the walls.
