I am not a “value hound” when it comes to investments. Quality, stability and getting one’s money back are as important, if not more so, than booking large gains. On the other hand, when I see consistent disparity in valuation levels in various markets, I am compelled to look back at financial history to determine if these types of disparities have existed in the past and how long they might persist until a move toward mean reversion takes place.
