Boston Dock to Get Inked with 1,000 Feet of "Tattoos" -- Design News

If a dock is the arm of a harbor, then Boston's is getting a full sleeve. Local artists are staining 1,000 feet of "tattoos" celebrating Boston's rich shipping history directly onto the HarborArts dock. The designs, inspired by cultures all over the world, will be completed by the HarborArts Festival in September.
