'Harry Potter' vet David Yates to direct JK Rowling trilogy kickoff 'Fantastic Beasts'

Director David Yates, who helmed the last four installments in the "Harry Potter" film series, has signed on to direct "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," the kickoff to a new trilogy inspired by Rowling's 2001 book of the same name.
