(Reuters) - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith, a Pro Bowl selection in 2013, signed a long-term contract extension with the National Football League (NFL) team on Sunday. Though details were not disclosed by the club, local media estimate the deal to be worth $68 million over four years. "It was a priority of ours to get this deal done and keep Alex in a Chiefs uniform long-term," Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said in a statement.
