Combination microRNA therapy shown to suppress non-small-cell lung cancer

A combination of two microRNAs suppressed tumor growth in an an animal model of non-small-cell lung cancer, a new study shows. The study provides two important examples of basic science discoveries making their way to the clinical setting and offers the possibility of a less toxic and more direct method to target multiple biologically relevant pathways to which tumor cells have become addicted.
