NFL has a credibility crisis in wake of Adrian Peterson child-abuse case, Ray Rice domestic-violence incident

The second Sunday of NFL games began with the arrest of Adrian Peterson rocking the league, less than a week after images of Ray Rice knocking out his fiancee roiled it. Active and former players are distancing themselves from the league -- and from players who are abusers. And ESPN's "NFL Countdown" was unusually critical of the league's broadcast partner.
