Over the past decade, no label has driven underground electronic dance music as thoroughly and consistently as London's Hyperdub. Founded by Steve "Kode9" Goodman, Hyperdub is best known for charting the development of dubstep -- back when the genre wasn't a dirty word in dance circles -- as it forged U.K. garage and grime into something darker, deeper and more bass-heavy.
