Patrick Modiano wins Nobel Prize in Literature

Patrick Modiano was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature, the world's highest literary honor, on Thursday. The Swedish committed praised the 69-year-old French writer for "the art of memory with which he has evoked the most ungraspable human destinies and uncovered the life-world of the occupation."
