Milwaukee nursing home chain agrees to settlement with feds, states, in billing controversy

MILWAUKEE-Extendicare Health Services Inc. has agreed to pay $38 million to the federal government and eight states, including Wisconsin, to settle allegations that it improperly billed Medicare and Medicaid.
