A $10,000 limit per-student on federal student loans would weed out dozens of for-profit colleges - many with questionable methodologies, weak graduation rates and pathetic entrance standards - that prey on poor and minority teens and returning adult students. Seizing on the Federally goosed canard that "everyone must have a bachelor's degree," for-profits have been able to thrive - even with tougher federal oversight - because 86% of all for-profit college funding comes from federal taxpayers. ...
